Behind the scenes, a template receives one fixed set of your details and never reads your account directly. Every template works with any subset of them, so a page with only a headline, one role and a few skills still looks complete.

The biggest question about any public profile is what it reveals. TailrMe starts from the opposite of oversharing: nothing appears until you switch it on, and you preview exactly what is public before you publish.
- Before every publish, CoTailr scans the finished page for any value you hid, and blocks publishing if one slips through.
- Phone, email, date of birth, gender, nationality and address stay private unless you turn them on.
- An optional “Email me” button is the only contact route, since there is no download. It is off by default.
